Use twitter button to get more traffic.

Add twitter button to your website to let people share content on Twitter without having to leave the page. And also you will get two benifits, one getting traffic to your website by the links tweet by your visitors by their followers and secondly, your twitter strategic spread of websites links.

Follow few simple steps to get the buttons available in different styles. Lets start creating one.

Step 1. First of all we need to go to the twitter's tweet button section for the developers, open this link: http://twitter.com/about/resources/tweetbutton. After opening this link you will land to the page shown in the screen shot below (click the image to enlarge for reading the instructions on the image properly):

The above screen shot shows the choice of the buttons available, select the one you like. For tutorial purpose we are using the first one.


Step 2. As you can see in the page opened that there are 4 menus on top of the buttons...Choosing the second one ie. "tweet text" will open the options as shown in the image below:

The two available option in this section are described in detail in the image

Step 3. The third option is for the url option, here you can either choose to tweet the webpage url on which the button is kept, or you can also select any custom url which you want your visitors to tweet. The screen shot of the url option is shown below with sufficient visual explaination:

Step 4. The fourth and final option is the language option which gives you the facility of choosing different languages in which you wan't to show the button data and tweet. The screen shot is given below:

Step 5. After selecting all the four options in the first section carefully, this page gives you the option for selecting two twitter accounts for following. This is totally optional, you can leave these fields if you wan't. Then you can go to the bottom of this page to grab the code in third option. The detailed summary of the processes involved in this step is shown in the screen shot below, (Don;t forget to click the image to enlarge to understand better.):

Step 6. After you copy and paste the code in the desired section of your webpage, the final finished product will look like shown in the screen shot below:
